Day 1: Pick up and then transfer to Lake Bunyonyi.
On the 1st day of the safari, depending on your location your safari guide will pick you and then brief you about the safari. After the briefing you will transfer to Lake Bunyonyi that is located in Kabale region commonly known as the Switzerland of Africa. Along the way you will have the stopover at the equator for the experience to witness the Southern and then Northern hemispheres, taking pictures and then buying souvenirs. After the experience you will continue driving and then make another stopover in Mbarara for lunch, after lunch you will drive until you reach Lake Bunyonyi that is close to Uganda and Rwanda; upon your arrival you will have the magnificent views of Mount Muhavura and then other fascinating views. Later you will transfer to your lodge for dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.
Day 2: Canoe riding and then transfer to Bwindi impenetrable forest national park.
On the 2nd day of the safari, wake up early in the morning and enjoy breakfast. After breakfast your safari guide will transfer you for the canoeing safari experience to where you will have the outstanding experience to witness over various islands of the Lake, and the spot several numbers of the bird species along that offers you unforgettable safari experience. After the experience you will transfer to your lodge and enjoy lunch. After lunch you will transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable forest national park for the exciting gorilla trekking experience; with the stunning views along the way, upon your arrival you will check in your lodge for dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.
Day 3: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi impenetrable forest national park.
On the 3rd day of the safari, wake up early in the morning and enjoy breakfast, after breakfast your safari guide will pack you up from your lodge with your packed lunch and then transfer to the park headquarters at 7am for the briefing about the rules and regulations to follow during gorilla trekking. At 8am that’s when gorilla trekking start to where the park rangers will led you into Bwindi impenetrable forest national park to trek one of the gorilla families in the park to your preferred one of the sector of the four sectors in the park. Gorilla trekking takes about 30 minutes to 6 hours depending on the location of the gorillas, while looking for the gorillas you will be attracted by the beautiful attractions in the forest that makes the experience attractive as you walk along distance in steep within rain overhead before spotting the gorillas, and once the gorillas are located you will be in their presence for one hour.
This is where you will get the chance of being in their presence and encounter them, watching them hunting, mating, making for their night nests, breasting feeding, watching mothers breast feeding their babies, taking their pictures and recording their movies through using the less flash cameras, because the flash disrupts the gorillas. After one hour you will be transferred to your starting point and be awarded with gorilla trekking certificates for taking part in gorilla trekking, after your safari driver will transfer you to your lodge for dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.
Day 4: Departure.
On the last day of the safari, wake up early in the morning and then enjoy your breakfast. After breakfast, you will check out from your lodge and then meet your safari guide and then depart to Kampala. Along the way you will have the perfect views, and then later when your reach Mbarara you will enjoy your enroute lunch in Mbarara, and after lunch you will proceed with your journey to Kampala. And once you arrive in Kampala in the evening, your driver guide will drop you at your convenient place that is either at Entebbe International Airport to catch your flight back home or at your hotel in Kampala that will make your Uganda safari come to the end.
